Ethelonter VI

Yuppy! I'm back from NUS Community Service Club's (CSC) camp, Ethelonter VI. Ethelonter is a Greek word, meaning spirit of volunteerism. I'll say it is a success despite all the last min changes and miscommunications due to external factors. It was really hard for the PDs to deal with all these and i think they had executed the best mitigation. Thank you for being such great leaders. On top of that, I was really grateful to all the OC members. All the councillors and freshies were high! YEAH!!! Thanks for all the enthusiasm...i really enjoyed the whole process.

Before the camp started, we did identifiers for the whole Auxo group. 27jul, we went to Xin yi's hse for dinner and the making of identifiers. FYI, Xinyi's dad is a chef, he cooked for us!! YUMMY!
Ethelonter VI started on 29th June for all the councillors. It was known to be the Day 0. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we delayed the whole camp by 1 day and our Day 0 become Day -1. HAHAHA. Below is a picture taken when Auxo's councillors were having lunch outside their rooms on Day 0 (30june).
Finally, after 2days of bonding within the councillors, we had freshies to join us on 1st July!! Yuppy. It was quite hard to break the ice, but we did our best during the ice-breaker.

2nd July - I love this pic the most! We had a wonderful time together, helping each other massage! hahahaha! Everyone had worked hard! We deserved the rewards!!! ^^ 3rd July - Sentosa Day!! NIGHTMARE!!! hahaha...one word...RUN...we all really ran like mad!! hahahhaa. Our group was quite high towards the end! i realli like tt!! We cheered for one another! Jiayou Auxo!! We got first for the treasure chest station! ^^

Side note: We had one station called "The Twin Towers". However, the towers were closed on tt day, so we had to shift the location to ground, and they renamed it to "The Fallen Towers". hahaha.

After Sentosa, was our E6's talenttime @ Pasir Ris Park! It was time to showcase wat the OC had been preparing for months. Our wondergals and my love. So unlike me, I'm in the wondergals team. HAHAHA. 台上一分钟台下十年功. Everything just happened in a snap. I wasn't sure wat i was doing man...haiz.
Due to some miscommunication, some of the councillors have to transport all the bags to Downtown East. Somehow i really felt bad. I didn't really enjoy the talenttime after that. =( I felt even more guilty after realising tt they didn't go MIA on purpose. Felt so sorry for not trusting my friends. Luckily there was chance for everyone to clarify and i was given a chance to let out my emotion. So pai seh to Gan-gan and Kevin. Hope that i didn't scare yall. HAHAHA.

4th July - Yeah!!! Time to break camp. Oh, i didn't i mention tt i didn't sleep thruout the night? hahahaa...Thank Kien Yong for accompanying me thruout at mac when the rest were sleeping. HAHAHA. (Oh, Jx, if you are wondering wat u saw...yup! it's the pants tt u ought to burn) Here is the AUXO group photo!!! SMILE! ^^

Oh Oh Oh...This is interesting...It's called "Non Mihi Solum in Ethelonter", meaning "Not For Myself Alone in Spirit of Volunteerism". Nice right!! Yuppy...it's a pic of AJCian in E6!! Starring from the oldest YuZheng (E2) till the year 1s! hahahaha!

We had our first gathering outside camp @ New York New York! hahaha...look at wat our freshies ordered. They must be hungry...I could vivid rmb wat Chantal, our Assistant Project Director, said,"Was the camp food that bad that the freshies were hungry?"

Yup...This is another unglam shot of me! i'm immuned to it! I was so so so so so exhausted. I didn't sleep the previous night! All i could rmb during the lunch was everytime i opened my eyes, there would be something new in front of me and i would just grab it! HAHAHA.
