Life's Good

I'm not promoting any product from LG. I just feel blessed!

It's a joy to go to school. I really enjoy doing funny things together with ESE friends, attending lectures and tutorials with them. I'm gratified that I'm no longer a solo-kia in NUS. On top of that, every Thursday or FridayI will spend time with Yew to exercise, keeping fit together. Life is really good at this point of time although I have a lot of work waiting for me.

I think this semester is also quite hectic despite the fact that I'm only taking 5 modules. I have a total of 7 lab sessions (each will require us to submit a report), 3 projects and the usual tutorials and assignments. Don't worry, I believe I can continue to strive better this semester. This is something that I learnt from today's bball, think positive and have faith in myself. It may be hard initially, but as long as I put in more effort, it's definitely possible (especially with some luck^^).

Thank you for having faith in me, espcially at times when I don't even have confidence in myself. Love you.

school....AGAIN?!!

好花不常开,好景不常在。美好的时光总是短暂的,又开学了!!!

ARGH!!! I DUN WANT...As usual, I'm procrastinating...^^ But it's only the 2nd day of school!! I shall enjoy this week, at least the first 3 days. I promise i'll go lib for thurs and fri. I shall be a good gal like last sem!!! hehehe...but this sem cannot go up by 1 class already, cos if i wanna get 2nd upper this sem, i'll need to score 5.08! HAHAHA...sorry, sorry, not very funny...^^ But i shall aim for improvement again!
Nvm, dun stress wing, just do your best.

I think this sem will be an interesting sem...I seriously think that most of my modules look interesting. There are like sooooooooooooooooo many many many things tt i dunnoe. Suddenly have the urge to learn more about them...

TR2201 Entrepreneurial Marketing (taken with Chingy) - The main focus is entrepreneurship, not marketing. The lecturer is sort of like assumed that you know something about marketing already...(WHICH I KNOW NUTS, so need to do alot of reading) But the whole course if very hands-on, really need to draft a feasible, sustainable, marketable and scalable business proposal. Tedious, but interesting and hopefully will be an enriching experience.

CM2142 Analytical Chemistry (taken with Bro) - About techniques to analyse substances. Seems useful if i'm really going to be Environmental Engineer. But very technical and alot of labs...OMG...

CE2183 Construction Project Management (taken with ESE ppl) - management of the construction of buildings...big big project...hmmm...not very sure how will it be...

ESE 2001 Environmental Processes (taken with ESE ppl) - i dunnoe, i fell asleep during the first lecture.

ESE 2401 Water Science & Techonology (taken with ESE ppl) - the lecturer is a joker!! HAHAHA...but he's very knowledgeable...Seems like a fun module! ^^

JCS Japanese - had my first lesson for Advance level today...SUCKS...I'M LIKE SO CHUI...I think my standard is like miles away from Advance level. The ppl there are very zai! Haiz...I shall start mugging my Japanese, practise more...speak up more!!! Yah, I NEED to get a dictionary, but i WANT to get a electronic one but it's EX and there's no guarantee tt i'm going to study all the way...>.<>.< Nvm, I shall just jia you...

After looking at these, I dun think i can score any A for this sem, even though there are only 5 mod. All seems difficult!!! =(

Going Down the 2009 Memory Lane

Inspired from Christine's and ZR's blog.

2009 was definitely a year of full of changes for me, change for the better.

1. My first and last clubbing experience for 2009 with Char, Chris, Jx, Ed and Zr @ Phuture. It was definitely a fun experience to go clubbing with close friends. Chris and I were surprised to find out that Ed and Zr had grown up and acted like gentlemen, protecting the girls. The deafening music forced Chris and I to escape for an hour...(according to Zr, it was when the music was the best)
2. Got to wake up from my dream and face the reality to stop liking him. Now we are good friends and it's really great that we keep it that way.

3.I changed to a new Japanese School, JCS @ Bugis. Changed 3 Sensei for my Intermediate Class in 2009. The teachers just got worse...haiz. Despite that, I still could graduate with fine result.

4. First time being in an Organising Committee for CSC Special Project. It started with E6 as Marketing Assistant, then currently Grant A Wish VII's Party-Marketing Assistant. Cold calling was no joke. It was tedious and you would just have to try your luck. GAW's cold calling was much better compared to E6's. I learnt pretty much from these 2 projects, like how to sound more confident and be more decisive.

5. Ethelonter VI (5 days 4 nights Camp) - The whole process was fun. From the planning to preparation to execution, it was incredibly enjoyable (although it was tiring...). Got to know alot of CSC friends, esp ppl like my macho gal, Zhen Xiu, and Yew Thong. Also formed my KTV kakis with Kevin, Christabel, Yew, Hui Ting, Xin Yi, Zhen Xiu....

Auxo!!!Banner making with councillorsKTV sessions and our Can't Live w/o KTV kakis

6. I'm attached for the first time in my life. Yup, with someone who i barely knew for 2 months plus. Quoted from Christine, "Some people are just not meant to be friends." Well, when the chemistry was right, people just couldn't stop it. It's really a blessing to have met yew thong, someone who takes good care of me and motivates me to study. First time holding a guy's hand for so long, first hug, first arguement, first kiss, first time i sat in his car, first time meet the parent session...all done in 2009. Honestly, it's not easy to maintain a relationship.

7. Finally streamed into ESE! Great to have Shu Yi with me in the course, making everyday such an enjoyment. Not to mention all my great coursemates! They are nice, friendly and funny. They are really a bunch of super-nice ppl (not exaggerating)! Blessed to be streamed into ESE. At least I'm no longer, 孤魂野鬼! No longer solo-kia! ^^

有福同享,有难同当,有病同中

8. First time overloaded myself with studies and commitments. I had 6 mods in AY09/10 Sem 1, with 5 cores and 1 Japanese lang mod. I was party-marketing assistant in GAW and Vice-chairperson for LB. At the same time, I had to juggle with my JCS's Japanese lesson and time for family, friends and bf. It's a semester which I even more appreciate the power of friendship and time management. Thanks all the friend who helped me in my work! I'll be more available in 2010!!

Studies, Mugging in progress...

Family times..

8PG + 1 outing, somehow I'm always the organiser...Great to chat with them every now and then...we will meet until our children get into RV...

JC sisters gathering

Some pak tor time also

9. First time going overseas after 8 years with YT. I got my very first stamp for brand new passport! Before the clock struck 12, we were still on the coach on Malaysia's highway.

Taken on the coach.
