Perfect Chemistry!

Currently, i'm watching Kindaichi shonen no jikenbo again. It is such an old show...it was broadcasted in 1995. When i was 6 years old? hahahaha. I think Domoto Tsuyoshi (Kinki Kids) can carry the character of Kindaichi very well. Whenever we talk about Kindaichi, we will think of him. He was so cute back den...hahahaa..now, become uncle already. HAHAHA. 岁月不留人. But honestly, Kindaichi no jikenbo is the best Japanese detective story!!! Love it. Oh i found the latest Kindaichi video, Kyuuketsuki Densetsu Satsujin Jiken (吸血鬼伝説殺人事件). It was broadcasted in 2005, and it was Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN) who acted the role of Kindaichi. Pls go and watch it!! hahahaa

But I managed to board the 3rd class honors train for this sem. So on the bright side, i did improve as compared to sem 1. I'll Con't to work hard for 2nd lower. Step by step. Rather than asking how many times can we love someone, i was thinking how many ppl can we love in this life...(the BGR kinda love, not friendship kind hor) I dun understand why some ppl can change gf/bf or change "target" so quickly. It seems like after allowing someone to enter your heart, it will be hard to let that person go. It takes time, like many years. But after releasing tt person, it'll be even harder to let another person enters. But i'm glad to say mine is empty at the moment, or i should say the only occupant now is Ohno! ^^ *heart* Now i don't have time for this as i have lotsa other things to concentrate on.

Next sem i will have lotsa things to focus on, like my studies, tuition, japanese and CCA. I'm planning to take Japanese 2 in NUS on top of my other 4 core modules i suppose. It will be really hectic i suppose. Also, i think i will cont and finish my elementary Japanese at Hougang Japanese School from July to Oct. Other than worrying about my own studies, i still have to worry about my tutees' studies. Sec 4 students will be having their O'level in Oct which is near to my exam as well. I think i better give them intensive tuition now, to prepare them for their O'level. Looks like i'll be quite stretch for the coming sem. But i want to do more for my CCA as well. I'll like to participate more in Special Projects and RVP. I really need to find the balance.

I went cycling today at East Coast Park with Jacelyn and Sherine despite the rain. It was amazing how we got to know each other and come out together. We were acquaintances before Kathleen’s bday celebration. (My bro, Jacelyn’s sister (Kath), and Sherine’s bro (James) know each other in the first place.)

Today’s trip was mainly on food, cycling, self-cam and chat!! ^^ It’s lucky that we could still execute our cycling plan despite the quirky weather.

Not so fair, tanned, cooked.

After a series of camp trials, I'M tanned! Seriously to the extent of BURNT. Really black (Chao Ta)...ARGH...I think my skin tone is like tt of JM's when he was back in RV. Unlike some with healthy bronze skin, my tanned skin is black. BLACK. ARGH...i feel like pulling my hair out!!! WHY WHY WHY!!! On top of these trials, tml i will be going to ECP for cycling. GrEAT...even more tanned...I put my wrist against my tummy and i showed my bro the contrast. His reaction? He sang Zhang Xue You's Hei Bai Hua Ying, "Na hei, Na bai...". ARGH....

Now i really hate ppl who are fair. Chris, Jx, Ziling...all the fair ppl...pls get out of my sight...Joking only lah.

OH, Just now a shuai ge walked me home from mrt! HAHAHAHA. so shiok right. Aiya, tt person is Zhe Min lah, my rvco senior, currently mech engin Year 2. ^^ Just happened to see him after i walked out from the station. Hmmm...good for my eyes...HAHAHA.

Yup! I invited sisters to my hse to celebrate Melissa's bday...9 of them: Ming Zhu, Melissa, Cheryl, Wee Ling, Shu Yi, Ching yee, Zi Ling, Candice, Pavitra. Yup I cooked! hahahaaha...(lucky they are still alive and kicking after eating my food)

The picture below was taking while we were making the bread pudding. Let me explain what's bread pudding. Basically, it is a British dessert, made from bread. It's soft in the inside like pudding. We added some chocolate chips and almond chops inside too! And tt's Smelly's bday cake! hahahaha.

Okay, i didn't cook everything here. HAHAHA. The curry was made by my mom. The rest was from me. ^^ There are soba, okonomiyaki, chicken wing, curry and stir-fried cabbage. They are very simple dishes, but i did put in effort! ^^Thanks for all the compliments gals, though it's not tt delicious. HAHAHA. Thank you for being so appreciative (except for...humph...ya...i'm refering to you...please be more sensitive. Invited you to my hse for smelly's bday to ENJOY, MINGLE WITH THE SISTERS, not to talk abt school stuff, let alone dl stuff onto my laptop w/o asking...Although i don't really mind, i still hope you can practise some basic courtesy)Yeah, a group photo with the food! Past few days

Well well well, time for some updates i think. Just a short one for each day.
Hmmm, i should start from tuesday. okie.

Ziling and Pav came to Candice and my neighbourhood to play ball games, bball and soccer. healthy leh.

Went out with brenda n wanyan at causeway point cos near our hse. HAHAHA. We practically ate non-stop. hahahaha. First we had ramen set meals @ ajisan ramen. WOW...heavenly. i ordered kimichi ramen, brenda ordered miso cha siew ramen while wanyan got hokkaido scallop ramen. yummy.

Oh it's tuesday, so how can we give GELARE'S WAFFLE a miss..hahahaha. of cos not. We had frutty waffle with cookies and cream icecream (ya jx, finally i ate cookies and cream) and chocolate chip waffle with chocolate icecream. The more we ate, the more we were hungry...tt's shocking..tt's explain how we put on weight.

TT'S not all...hahaha, we even had teh tarik at the coffee shop, located in front of Candice's Condo. Hmmm, thruout the whole session, we were talking abt our friends' and our updates. Hmmm...i realised my social circle is quite small ne, couldn't recall many of my primary schoolmates. 8 years had passed after primary school graduation. Lotsa things have changed. People take different paths, some even have kids at our age.

Wednesday...E6 shiseido talk together with councillors briefing. Had a nice bondin session with my group mates. We are now know as the "Auxo". Went mahattan fish market for dinner.

On our way home, there's this stranger guy who performed magic tricks for those ard him. soooooo cool. wat an entertaining trip home.

Thursday...Had lunch with GE money friends. Charissa was very sick, so she went home early. Then, i met mel, pav, wee n candice for our ben n jerry ice cream date!!! hahahahaa. We had double brownie special with chocolate maccadamia and cake batter ice cream. After the shopping trip, melissa n pav even had another ice cream at premium prafiet, chocolate sienne. ^^ lovely.

Friday...met Christine's bf and Partyworld session! Arh...i really miss singing though i can't really sing. hahahaha. Char's voice is still the best. Lin Jia can sing leh. hahahaha. oh...lucky my bro went, both of them have lots to talk abt, otherwise we will seem like isolating lin jia. HAHAHA. *lucky my bro is a guy..otherwise christine will feel threaten...hahahaha.*

Saturday...after my volunteery work near ABC market, i went to rot ard before going to seok hwee's 21st bday party. I had a Da Bao in ABC market and a soft ice cream from ikea. I left before the cake cutting ceremony bcos i need to rush off to DUNLOP street for Josef's 21st bday party. hahahaha. wat a hectic day.

Sunday...going out with buddy MX..We went Cuppage plaza's kushigin Japanese Resturant. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE FOOD...hahahaha. seriously, i could taste the happiness in the food, especially their famous Yakitori Bento set, 5 Yaki sticks, miso soup, Rice with seaweed, mushrooms, pork floss.

Journey to the south, west, east, north.

8may Journey to the south, Vivo City ~ I'm a Carnivore!
Yuppy...it's foody time. Initially, Bro, unnie and i wanted to have lunch buffet at Ju shin jung, BUT they don't accept NETS and the nearest ATM is like few bus-stops away. What the...we were quite turned off at that point of time. Hence, we change the location and ended up in Vivo's CARNIVORE! From the name, you can roughly guess that it's a meat-based buffet. Yuppy, It's a Brazilian Churrascaria, Brazilian steakhouse, Passadors (meat waiters) come to your table with knives and a skewer, on which are speared various kinds of meat. There is a salad bar at a corner so that we won't literally become carnivores. I like the interior design and the bright ambience.


So if you want the passadors to serve you with the meat, please turn the tag to "SIM, POR FAVOR!". Otherwise, just turn it to "NAO, OBRIGADO". Personally, i feel that there's no different cos they still served me with meat even though my red tag was facing upwards.

It's $32 ++ per pax. After GST and service charge, it's around $38 per pax. The service was good, especially one of the passadors who actually rmb that my bro and I do not eat beef after we told him once. However, as i'm not a meat-lover, i don't think such brazilian style buffet is worthy. Do you know that at one point of time i couldn't bear to cut my slice of lamb? (it reminded me of the documentary on how the farmers cook a raindeer meal using raindeer's blood, bone marrow, meat and tongue, which i watched the previous night. -_-) Plus, i don't like the smell of mutton and i don't eat beef. Maybe it will be a different story for Jian Ming, my carnivorous friend. HAHAHA.

After the hefty meal, we went for a walk on the top floor of vivo. Yesterday's weather was beautiful, plus the breathtaking scenery. Wow...good for dating...and sun-tanning?? con't to look at the pictures..u will get the picture...(Well, u noe what i'm driving at..)

After parting with Bro and Unnie, i went to meet Cheryl Seah @ City Hall. Since seah has the crave for fried rice, we went to Ding Tai Feng. How can we miss the Xiao Long Bao? Honestly, i felt bloated after the previous meal that i could bearly eat anything else, so i only ate one xiao long bao out of the six.

One, Two, Three, Four, Five.......Six? The Sixth was in Seah's mouth.

After the dinner, seah wanted to go to city link but i refused as i wanna listen to my 933's 罐头剧场大结局！We ended up sitting in front of the war memorial and we had a great chit-chat session. I realised i missed out quite alot for the past 2 sem. Wat was i doing...? I'm sorry friends that i wasn't there for yall for most of the time. I'll try not to be a loner next sem. Well, next sem i have Chris and JX joining me in NUS too!!! HAHAHA.

Oh, we even had supper at Starbucks. Hahaha. Well, we merely ordered hazel nut ice coffee and a classic cinnamon roll to share. Not worth taking pic cos we came to the conclusion that the cinnamon roll of this particular brand was damn good, cannot find it any more. =(

We gave up waiting for bus service number 10 after the super duper long wait, like 30mins, and we decided to catch the train instead. Women's capability, shopping...on our way to MRT, we stopped at City link's HMV...and we brought Taylor Swift's Fearless out...^^ (I love her "White Horse")

Journey to the west, PGP ~ overnight in school

On the way to PGP, seah told me the story plot of "Knowing", a weird show with aliens showing up here and there. (Then i further summarised the plot for swee.)

I couldn't believe i forgot to bring such an impt thing for the overnight stay!!! MY CONTACT LENS' CONTAINER!!! OMG!!! Thank seah for sacrificing her daily disposable contact lens so tt i had something to contain my contacts.

SEAH, you slept like a pig...hahahaha. It was raining and she had no clue abt it. I had to close the windows for her and open them in the morning after the rain had stop. HAHAHA. SEE LAH, sleep so late for wat.

Yuppy, it's time for BREAKFAST! We went to the Prata house, located along Clementi road, for breakfast. I had tissue prata and teh tarik while seah had maggie goreng and milo peng. Wow. I really love this kinda life. Like the old uncles go and yum cha with friends after their morning exercises. HAHAHA. 美好的时光总是过得很快，一下子就要道别了。Well, time to say good bye to Seah, and probably PGP for the coming Sem since she couldn't con't her stay in PGP. It's time for me to head to tampinese to meet my dear for our LUNCH DATE.

Journey to the east, Tampinese 1 ~ JAPANESE CUISINE!!!大好き！
I forgot that today was public holiday. IT WAS DAMN CROWDED!! Scary siah. Swee and i realised there are 3 malls in the vicinity of the Tampinese mrt alone. SIAO LOH.

We had our lunch at MANPUKU, which has the similar concept as SHOKUDOU and Mache, whereby each customer was entitled a card to purchase for food and settled the debt in the card at end.

We started with this scallop chawanmushi. Thanks, swee for letting me to eat the scallop. HAHAHA. It was AWESOMELY EXCELLENT!!!! (Price: $3.80)

Next, we ordered Pork okonomiyaki (Japanese Cabbage Pancake) and Hayashi Rice Omu. Both were heavenly! (Price: $9.80 and $7.90 respectively)

Although it's a bit expensive given the small serving size, i won't mind having a second serving of this. ^^ YUMMY.

Overall, i think we had a super statisfying lunch and the price was reasonable too. <3>

As usual, we did some shopping after the meal. The uniqlo was nothing special. It's just like the singapore's Hang Ten, Giordano...nothing spectacular. HAHAHA. (oh, yes yes, someone accidentally broke a bottle of sake in uniqlo i think...spectacular enough?)

Finally, we reached the basement where most of the food specialities are located. First, we "attacked" the korean minimart, "won" a 200g kimchi out. HAHAHA. Then, I fell in love just by looking at the strawberry shortcake from Yamazaki's display counter! WOW...おいしそう! Then we just walked ard in the Japanese "super". Basically it was full of snacks. I would clear the shelf if i had the money. HAHAHA. We end of the journey to the east with a cup of Mr Bean's soya milk!

Thanks dear for not buying almond soya milk, cos i don't like the medicine smell of almond syrup. ^^

Journey to the north, HOME SWEET HOME

Yeah, time to go home after 34hours of "running away" from home. HAHAHA. Once i stepped into my house, it marked the end of my island wide tour, 环岛追追追. Cooked the korean shin ramen, added egg, ham and the kimchi which i just bought! BEST. Enjoyed my dinner while watching some nonsensical taiwanese drama with super lame plot. i shall not state the title. ^^

Clearly, i'm enjoying my current life!! ^^ What a big contrast from my life 2weeks ago.

やった！！！1st post after exam

Yes!!! The counter has ended, so are my exams!!! I'm over the moon. (Talking about the moon, tonight's moon was cool. It was so bright that there's a rim around it. ie if the diameter of the moon is 1cm from ground, the rim's diameter is ard 10cm.)

I watched 2 movies today!!!! What a cool experience! (this was not the first time) I watched 17again AGAIN (cos i watched online) with pav, melissa, chingy & cheryl @ J8. Oh, tulip and friends(NUS friends who took JS) were watching the same show, same location and same timeslot as us. Kinda cool since we just parted 2h 30mins ago.
I'm not a Zac Efron-fan, but i still think that this is a worth-watching comdey, filled with laughters and tears. (okay...i think i was the only one with tears...i couldn't help it. I'M EMOTIONAL!) This is what the movie inspired me: Do not lose yourself after you made up your decision.

After the movie, i had to part with them and rush to orchard, far east. I met char, jx and chris for gelare's waffles. It was heavenly but it was pity that i couldn't finish my waffles. (i felt bloated >.<) Oh, den we watched X-men @ lido @ 845pm. Compared to the previous 3 X-men movies, the CGs done were not as splendid and realistic as the previous movies. There was no distinct climax in the movie, it was more about the psychological struggles that Logan were undergoing. so...okay lah. HAHAHAHA. btw, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING THE POST CREDIT!
