オー!マイ・ガール!!

I bought this show on TS sale. I got this for $15 only. I really like the lead actor, Hayami Mokomichi, who also starred in Zettai Kareshi, and the lead actress, Yoshida Riko. The guy looks so shuai and tall (186cm)! He's a model! Love his appearance. (緊張しないで、大野さん!あなたのことが絶対好き!あたしに自信あってね!) BUT...I really don't understand why the Jap producers have to make them smoke! They have ruined his image! ARGH! I DON'T UNDERSTAND! I DON'T SEE THE POINT OF IT! 何で?どうして?その意味はわかない。Why do they have to glamorise smoking? Does smoking have any positive effect to the show?! NO...Just like another show, Proposal 大作戦, starring Yamashita Tomohisa. WHY must they make him smoke?! FOR WAT?! It's not like he's a hooligan or wat...Haiz..Well and the little gal! So cute...for those who watched Yamata Taro Monogatari, she's the 5th sister! MY FAV! REALLY...超かわいい!Although she is only 9 years old, her acting skill is unquestionable. ^^

Weekends

27 Dec 2008 11am @ mY House

I invited Jx, Chris, Wanjing, Char and Zyun to my hse for WJ's and Jx's bday celebration. However, only Jx and Chris can make it. It's okay, we still had fun. I was baking breadpudding while Chris arrived at ard 11.30am. Not that i want to praise myself...it smelt great! She brought sushi, collon, wasabi and a slice of cake for Jx. However, soon, we realised the cake was mouldy. YUCKS. Hence, we turned the breadpudding into a 'bday cake'. ^^Chris was busy stuffing the collon with wasabi as a present for Jx while I made okonomiyaki (Japanese pan-cake). ^^Chris kept talking to me while i was peeling the prawns' shells. I got distracted and i was pricked by the shells. I consider the breadpudding and okonomiyaki a success compared to those i made previously! hahaha. Practice makes perfect. I'll make more dishes in the future. ^^ Juliet, pls marry me...^^I'll feed u until u are FAT!

JULIET, U ARE DAMN LATE! You were supposed to reach at 12.30pm! WHAT TIME DID U REACH...1.40PM. ALL THE FOOD TURNED COLD...PLS be on time...don't think that it's ur bday celebration den we can forget hor...OR ELSE...I'll kill you, follow by suicide. Cos i can't live w/o you. P.S: I love you ~ ROMEO

Finally, Jx arrived with a bottle of 100-Plus when we told her NOT to buy gasy drinks. Thanks arh. Starting from the top left hand corner (anti-clockwise), we have homemade-breadpudding, sushi, collon filled with wasabi and homemade-okonomiyaki



Chris and i had fun tricking Jx. The first item she picked up was the wasabi-collon. At the same time, she was telling us how Xia Xue was prunked by her friends with wasabi-collon, not knowing that she shared the same fate as Xia Xue. The timing was perfect. Just as she finished telling us the story while chewing the wasabi-collon, Chris shot a sentence, "Does it taste like this?" HAHAHA. Jx's expression was priceless...hahaha. We cleared all the food except for the wasabi collon...it's too yucky...

We self-entertained with our cantonese-english taboo...Damn funny...This game is inspired from a Taiwanese variety show whereby the player has to describe the Chinese words in english. Well, there won't be any entertainment value if we did the same thing. Hence, we came out with the idea of explaining the english words in cantonese. Damn stupid. For your information, our cantonese is less than half a bucket...imagine you have to describe Linsay Lohan in cantonese...絶対無理だった!

I decided to accompany Jx for a little longer while Chris went back to school for some concert i supposed. Jx took bus while i took MRT to causeway point as we bought the respective concessions. HAHAHA. We saw this carebear in Kiddy Palace. He looks so sad and different from other care bears...i really want to embrace it!

It's another bday celebration! This time, it's for Sin Ting and Pav! There's free candy floss! I made a big one and turned myself into a Santa Claus. HO! HO! HO! Merry Christmas!


We orded a Seafood Platter for 2 and Yankee Chicken Burger for the 7 of us. The serving was just right!

Sin Ting,"Do you make any good friends in Uni?" Chingy: "Yes, ZiLing loh." Somehow everyone laughed at that point of time...Hmmm, come to think about it again...I'm not so sure why we laugh too...hahaha.
Birthday cake was served after the meal. The staffs even sang the birthday song with us and with the shakers. We tried to "hit on" a young staff gal there. Hahahaha. She looks young to us, so we asked about her age. Well, she's only 16 and we are gals too and i think all of us are straight too...so nothing much...
Since the night was still young after we left NYNY, we headed to esplanade, the durian theatre. We along the path beside the outdoor theatre, there cards for people to write msg or wishes. Of cos, i wrote something...Hope that they will come true. ^^

Thanks to my friends, I’m not alone during this festive season! Thanks Santa for giving me such great gifts! This proves that i have been a good gal for the past 1 yr! (See, I earned good karma for donating blood) ^_^

12nn Buffet @ Hotel Rendezvous

Yeah! I'm so glad to spend part of my Christmas Eve with my dearest god-sis, Kathleen, and Bro! Both of them really dote me! ^^ We went Dutch for this meal and honestly speaking, IT'S EXPENSIVE! $50! Compare to Carousel, the buffet at hotel rendezvous was less appealing in various aspects like food variety, quality, service, ambience and cost. Nevertheless, i enjoyed the meal very much. It's the people you are going out with that determine your mood. Here are some of the photos i took during the buffet
Well, we started from desserts instead of appetizers. Hahaha. I had durian custard, durian puff, brownie with almonds and chocolate sauce.
These are what my bro ate.


Next, in anti-clockwise direction, we have Japanese seasoned baby octopus, mussels, *dunnoe* and jellyfish.
Then we have maguro(tuna) sashimi, unagi ramen, soba, mushroom salad and smoked and seasoned salmon.
Next, in anti-clockwise direction, we have seasoned baby mussels, turkey, cauliflower with carrot, tanboori chicken, Sichuan chilli prawn and cod fish (centre). There were other foods which I forgot to take picture, like fresh onion soup, chocolate mosses, bread pudding...
Kathleen wanted to buy me a bag for Xmas so we went shopping together in Hereen. However, I have no idea what to get and those that I like are quite ex. I can’t possibly request for a Levi’s bag, right? Hmmm..yall can give me suggestions on bags!!

6pm 8Piece Gang @ Yew Tee MRT
We gathered for the sake of gathering! Hahaha. That’s the whole point! I really love this group of people, be it back then or now. Hahaha. We talked about random and lame stuffs. I really grateful that I spent the Christmas Eve with all of you. Yah, i finally gave JM his stamp after 1 and half year! Hahaha. It’s kind of unique to go to heartland area for countdown, right?
WELL, we ended up having dinner in Ajisen and dessert in MOF. Then we went to JM’s condo’s pool side for another round of chit-chat session. HAHAHA. Sometimes life is just so simple. All we did was chit-chatting, but it’s the best part. That’s the main point of gathering, TALK. The army stuffs they encountered sounded so interesting! hahaha

There are some interesting statements which I really want to record down before I forget. Hope that 8PG doesn’t mind.

“DX and NZ got together!” (Ed and JM broke the news…everyone, including me, was shock…not surprise…sorry to say that.)

“I saw Yew Tee Zi Char I sian zi buah.” (cos Wil lives in Yew Tee and he goes there quite frequently i suppose.)

“Why Yew Tee Zi Char?” “Ask Jian Ming”
“No loh, it’s Edmund. I was stunned when I saw my name in the sms.”
(It turned out that JM was not the one suggesting the “Yew Tee Zi Char”, but Ed)

“Arh...yall steal my sleeping time.” (Wil again, he usually sleeps from 3PM to 12AM cos he is so lost in his games)

“Wah Edmund, when did your sms become so formal, ‘ladies and gentlemen’ and everything was spelt out except for ‘ljm’. Too many sms nv use is it.” (At least the guys are doing something for the outing. ^^)

“What will happen if I pull this (my scarf)?” and this ZR really pulled my scarf and almost struggled me. I shall make u pay back!

“Christmas eat Zi Char, CNY eat Pizza Hut” (Char said this in the carpark..cute right, I think CNY we shall go Little India or Kampung Glam)

Standing in a carpark to decide whether to proceed to Zi Char or walk to Lot 1. (We chose the latter)

“Let’s go home, my main aim is just to get the stamp” (JM said this when we were deciding to go to zi char or lot 1)

“Wah, now walk back to lot 1, I might as well stay there, waste my MRT fare.” “Edmund, we are sending you home leh.” (Ed got so sian diao when we wanted to go Lot 1, cos he lives in CCK)

“Like the “Tau Gay” (bean sprout) in Yong Tau Fu” (Like a Edmund. Random.)

“ VXX got married and pregnant!” *JM’s, Ed’s and Wil’s reaction*

“Imagine next time we will be talking about who and who got married...After 15 years we will be saying, “My son’s PSLE hor...”” (Hope that we can still meet up until that day comes.)

“Send me the photo, see how much my phone can zoom in…HAHAHA. CAN U GUESS WHO IS SHE?” (Char, Zr and Wil trying to compete whose phone can zoom the most. Well, Wil won this round…he zoomed until the gal’s eye.)

“Let’s buy champagne and go JM’s condo’s pool side.” (In the end, we got 1 sprite, 2 Ribena and 1 potato chip. I love my clique ppl, they are health-conscious!)

“My tank can kill a platoon, ard 50 ppl. I have 6 shots, can kill a company, ard 250-300 ppl.” ZR looked so proud talking abt this…

“I’m almost a 302” All of us were stunned by Ed.

“Your heart really skipped a beat.” (Wil joked about Ed’s health check-up’s report whereby his heart appeared to be paused for quite a while…lucky it’s due to human error, he’s fine)

“It’s very stupid, if you wanted to smoke, you have to go to this designated yellow box to smoke.” “Half the platoon was smoking in the yellow box during the break. Everyone was squeezing in the small yellow box. Wah, the smoke that gather…you would think that something was on fire” (I was really amazed by this when Ed and Zr were talking abt it. really dumb)

“Wah, this’s the reason we are not in town and you still spray.” (Ed said this after some ppl sprayed soap foams from a unit above)

“Christmas already?” “Not yet.” x 2 “My clock is fast by 2 mins.” *waited* “Xmas already?” “Ya, ya..” “over already lah” “Then countdown how?” “Never mind, heck, just countdown” “for sake of doing” “10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1…Merry Christmas” (This was the lamest Countdown but best I had so far…^^ but nxt time if u want to have private countdown, pls get an accurate watch)

We walked out of the condo ard 5 mins after our countdown. Strangely, we heard ppl counting down again when we were at the security post. SO…who were correct? Who cares?! HAHA

“It’s so great to spend Christmas together again! We have been doing this since sec 4 right. So cool” (I sincerely feel this way. It’s something that I look forward to every December. BUT…)
“Don’t you think it’s sad that we are celebrating together because we have no date!” (WHY DO YOU HAVE TO SPOIL THIS MOMENT?!!! Although I don’t want to say…i kinda agree…)

11.30am Xmas lunch @ Harbourfront centre
Yeah, so glad that I was asked to come out on Xmas day! We had lunch together at HC’s Pizza’s Hut again. Today’s outing only had 5 sisters, Ming Zhu, Pav, Weeling, Shu Yi and I. I was amazed by Wee’s inspection skill. She helped us to QC all the utensils and plates. Hahaha. I told them about 8PG’s outing and also one of my schoolmates who is going to give birth soon. It turned out…sisters also have similar situations ard them. All of us are of the same age, but the contrast is so big. This is life. We shall not do things that will make us regret. I have faith in my friends. I don’t want to receive any red letter at this age. Thanks.
After shopping for few hours, we settled down at the outdoor of Vivo’s level 3 with drinks, followed by more chit-chatting and photo-taking sessions! ^^

Past 1 week

17/12/08, 5pm, Kris & Sherene's Wedding Dinner @ Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Yeah, one of my closest cousins from my paternal side got married! I was one of the "brothers". Not really, i just helped out at the reception and in charge for the Mickey and Minnie mascots(small tasks). Hahaha. I went to WeiLing's hse to do my makeup as i know nuts about it. We took a cab there since we were going to be late for the preparation. Then we met up with Kah Hoe at the lobby and proceeded to the hotel room for preparation!

During the banquet, my family was sitting at the Bridal Table, with everything nicely set up! I would say that the dinner was a success, there wasn't any major problem. Furthermore, the food was awesome, especially the geniune shark's fin soup (it's really a few pieces of SHARK'S FIN and abolones in the small pot) and the tender cod fish with terriyaki sauce. おいしい!Wish that my cousin and his very pretty wife will have a blissful marriage! ^_^
19/12/08, 2pm, Lunch & Shopping with Chingy @ Centrepoint followed by Farenheit 飞轮海 concert @ Singapore Indoor Stadium
I got 2 free Farenheit 飞轮海 concert tickets from Sony Ericsson and Singtel. Since Chingy gave me the ticket for 罗志祥concert last time, i must reciprocate by giving her the ticket to see her 吴尊! =) We met at 2pm for lunch at Centrepoint's Noodle's restaurant as she had $10 voucher. Overall, the meal was average but the Wanton and the dessert, mango aloe vera and sago, were shiok! After the dinner, we went shopping so as to boost the economy. HAHAHA. At the end of the shopping trip, I bought 1 bossini shorts ($14.40), 1 covered shoes ($20), 1 Japanese Kanji Book ($47.80). I'm spendthrift! ARGH!!!!
Then we took bus service no. 16 to Singapore Indoor Stadium at 7pm. Although the bus was quite packed, we managed to get seats. There was a minor accident whereby we heard shriek coming from the front of the bus. We supposed that a girl's foot was caught by the door.
We still managed to reach the stadium before 8pm. Originally, our tickets were the $78 seatings, but there was too many empty seats that we were reallocated to the $98 seats! YEAH. Both of us brought binoculars and we were spying for Christine who was there for work(she needs to take photos and write article for Singtel on this concert). We spotted this Japanese who wore YUKATA to the concert! すごいけとちょっとおかしいね。 The concert commenced at ard 8.30pm with all the young girls' shrill cries. 怖い!They looked fine without opening their mouths. MY EARS HURT...I couldn't help but laughed at them...However, i was quite impressed by Cavin's Beatboxing and Aaron's singing as he's pitching is the best, relatively. FINALLY! IT'S THE EVENT WHICH I LOOKED FORWARD THE MOST! 刘力扬! 力扬! 力扬! 力扬! ARGH! I WENT CRAZY FOR HER! I didn't really scream during the concert before her appearence other than shouting on behalf of my friends for 大东. Yah! Her singing was magnificient! Near to perfect pitching! Crystal clear yet powerful vocal! She started with a duet, Ti amo, with Arron, followed by 眼泪笑了,我就是这样...This segment was the most enjoyable part throughout the whole concert! hahaha. Like i told some of my friends, "i'm going to 刘力扬演唱会and飞轮海is the guest." or the conclusion which shuyi and i got, "刘力扬演唱会and飞轮海的演会! "(since 飞轮海can't sing nor dance)
20/12/08, 8.30am, APB work training session @ Singapore Wine & Spirit Association, Aljunied
I only slept for 5 hours the previous night and i had to travel all the way to aljunied. 大変ですね! I'm taking up the job as promoter for Asia Pacific Brewery to promote Tiger beers and Gunniess for this CNY period in Supermarkets. Don't worry, we will be well dressed, shirt, jeans and covered shoes. Well, i just want to gain some sale experience and confident from this job, so i took up the job even though the pay was quite low. The whole project will kick off from 2Jan to 24Jan in various hyper, super, minimarts, 7eleven, Cheers and petrol stations.
1.30pm, Elderly-Befriender Christmas Party @ BLK 3 Bukit Merah
This week for LB we organied a christmas party for the elderly. The response was overwhelming and we were quite shorthanded as most of the internation students went back to their home country. I think that it was still managable and activities were carried out smoothly. I'm quite sad that the goodies we offered were not as good as before due to the cans-missing incident. I hope that the elderly would not feel disappointed. As you know, sunday was 冬至, so some of the seniors cooked 汤圆for the elderly, so thoughtful of them. I wish that the elderly will stay healthy and cheerful. I'll pray for them.
7pm, Keat Hong Chinese Orchestra Concert @ DBS Auditorium
Went to support Yan Ru for his solo piece. But i was already in Tanjiong Pagar at 4.45pm. I went to search for flowers to give to him. WOW. One bouquet of flowers was so EX and there wasn't anyone to share the cost with me, so...But since he paid for my ticket, the flowers can be taken as a trade off...haahaa. His performance was very good and fully expressed the sorrowness in the song. Not to mention he's skill, the ability to produce such melodious music even at 第四把位. Jun Hao's performance was also great that night. more shuai i suppose(?), cos i heard the gals in front commenting that. But it's definitely better than the one he did in AJ. Good job for both of them. Christine's bro, Alvin, was also performing. However, he couldn't recognise me when i said hi to him. What was he's reply? "Do i know you?" Wow. really best. I went to his hse n-times, even had meals with him before, yet...haiz. NVM. Other than that, i truely enjoyed the whole performance together with the NTUCO people.
21/12/08, 2.30pm, Blood Donation @ Dhoby Ghaut MRT station
I met up with Chingy after my tuition at 2.30pm for blood donation. I was so afraid that i got rejected again. I MERELY passed thru the all the tests.
1. Screening: Doctor said my blood pressure just made it, 100/68. (Chingy's 108/74)

2. Test for blood density (in order to determine whether there is enough iron in your blood): I recognised the man who pricked my finger today! He pricked my finger before in AJ! I prayed hard that i would have enough iron for this time. I saw my blood drop sank in the blue solution and float again! ARGH! That's the reason why i got rejected for the previous attempt (my blood drop just floated for the the previous attempt) ! Lucky i just made it to qualify for the donation.

After all these narrow escapes, i finally made it to the seat! hahaha. Seriously, it's not painful. The staffs are skilled, so don't worry that they will be like SAF medic. I got so excited when my blood was drawn out. It's so meaningful! I could actually feel the warm in my blood, i shall pass the passion in my blood to others! =) HAHAHA. Please donate blood if you are physically fit and qualify for it. We should let out the "old blood" so that "new blood" can be reproduce. This will increase your metabolism rate and you can also save life at the same time (earn some good karma). Ziling, please take good care of yourself, we shall donate again in march 2009.

I was thinking what to write for my blog for the past few hours since it's time for an update. Shall i write about my busy schedule despite it's holiday? Or Shall i write about my cousin's wedding ceremony? (i'll write it on thurs, after the wedding banquet) Until...i watched my arashi videos on youtube! hahaha. I'm still trying my best to understand the japanese videos without subs. But most of the time, i was guessing. Hahaha. Well, this is not the main point.
I was watching one of the variety shows by arashi, Himitsu no Arashi (秘密の嵐)broadcasted on 20081211. My jaw almost got dislocated after watching. My 大好きなリーダ-、大野智, he tried to challenge his limits by attempting to break the guinness's world record of wearing 224 T-shirts. Well, the process was very funny throughout. The first T-shirt he wore was female's S size Tee. He could fit into it totally!!!!(i don't really think it's possible for me as the shirt looks really small to me) ARGH! However, what made me overjoyed was the fact that he's of the same weight as me! 53kg. Since i'm taller than him by 1cm, i can announce tt i'm lighter than him! WoHoo! I don't like to be heavier than the guys i like. That's why i was over the moon when i saw the part where he declared his weight! HeeeHee..
